Wow, this is fantastic!! Amazing work for being your first. I wanted to be a level designer as well, but I have no idea where to start.

Thanks :> I'm really enjoying the creation process so far ^^, and for the not knowing where to start, Thats Kind of where I was at about a month ago... then I pretty much just sat down and started 3d modeling and building xD and it just turned out that I wanted to make a design for a BL:R level. so I am :)

Very nice. That's sort of where I am as well; just building stuff here and there and hopefully get to have in a level. As for BL:R, that is so cool. I've only seen a glimpse of the levels they have but I really enjoy them.
Just wondering, what 3D program do you use?

Indeed, that's a good start :> Oh, and I make most of my models in sketchup, but I learned 3dsmax before that :3, So now I just export them into 3dsmax^^

Oh I see. How is 3dsmax different from sketchup? I'm pretty familiar with sketchup but not with 3dsmax.

3DsMax is completely different when it comes to making models xD, It's hard to self teach yourself but it is possible c:
I'll be making a sketchup model to 3dsmax tutorial soon, it will be going over all specifics of making simple models in sketchup and exporting them into 3dsmax. :)
in the mean time, I made one covering general workflow here:

Nice! Can't wait :D Also, great tutorial; although I haven't familiarized myself with Ps or UDK, I still learned a lot about how they work and what they comprise of. You sir just earned yourself another watcher!!
